Raw Lamington Bliss Balls

Lamingtons to me are a gorgeous blend of coconut, chocolate, raspberry goodness. I always loved the ones with the jam and cream in the middle and I thought it would be hard to recreate in a bliss ball but I was wrong! These little bites manage to capture all the freshness of the raspberries, decadence of the chocolate and crunch of the coconut all in one! Give them a go this Australia Day!

Raw, Gluten-Free, Paleo, Vegan, refined-sugar free and absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS!

Recipe Type: GF, DF, RSF, V, Paleo

  • 1 C raw almonds (or other nut/seed of choice)
  • 1/2 C desiccated or shredded coconut
  • 1/4 C raw cacao powder
  • 1/3 C dates soaked in hot water for 15min*
  • 1/2 C frozen raspberries
  • Pinch salt
  • extra desiccated coconut for coating.

Optional: 1-2 T extra coconut oil

*For substitute Dates for any other dried fruit or extra raspberries if you like too!


  1. Blitz nuts, coconut, cacao and salt in a processor until fine and combined.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and process until the mixture comes together (you may need to scraped down the sides to make sure everything gets combined.
  3. Separated into tablespoon-sized portions and squish/work/roll into balls.
  4. Garnish with desiccated coconut if desired.
  5. Enjoy!
