GINGER HONEY

I love honey.

I love ginger.

I always wanted a liquid sweetener that was ginger-y.

Ginger Honey is beautiful on muesli, granola, in tea/coffee, stirred into yoghurt/cream, basically anywhere you would use honey – if you also like ginger then this will suit you!

Recipe Type: GF, DF, RSF, V, PALEO

Serves ~20
Time 5 min

Ingredients:Ginger Honey

  • 1 C honey
  • 8 big chunks naked ginger (you could use crystallised ginger but naked is better as it has less sugar, and the honey is sweet enough you don’t need the extra sweetness)

Method:

  1. Warm the honey in a bowl over some hot water so that it softens, you want it to be quite runny.
  2. Transfer to a blender (bullet blenders work best for this), add ginger and blend until combined.
  3. Transfer to a glass jar and store in pantry, enjoy with dishes as you would regular honey!
