Ingredients:
- 1 serving of Cauliflower & Broccoli Mash
- 1 (or 2, depending on your appetite) organic, gourmet sausage
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 4-5 button mushrooms, sliced
- 2 T balsamic vinegar
- a serving of your favourite greens (I had snow peas on this evening)
Method:
- Make your Cauliflower & Broccoli Mash as per this recipe.
- Grill or bake your sausage until cooked through
- Sautee onion, garlic and mushrooms in a pan for about 3 minutes until cooked down, add balsamic vinegar to caramelise and infuse flavour for 2 more minutes.
- Steam/cook your greens as desired
- Serve all components on a plate; sausage, caramelised red onion + mushrooms, cauliflower mash, greens.
- Devour!
